A bishop election will take place at the 2026 Synod Assembly. The following timeline comes from our Synod Constitution and will be followed by the Nominating Committee. More information will be added to this webpage, as it becomes available.

Bishop Election Nominees

In late March, Conference Assemblies were held to vote on nominees for bishop of the Eastern North Dakota Synod. Of the 10 persons nominated, 5 have agreed to have their name go forward to the Synod Assembly.
