The Resource Center for the Eastern North Dakota Synod is a ministry that provides an inviting space for conversation, learning, and previewing and borrowing resources. It serves as a crossroad, connecting individuals and congregations to one another and the larger church.
Together with a network of ELCA and ecumenical resource centers, we help identify and interpret resources for lay leaders, teachers, pastors, and others.
The Resource Center produces downloadable topical and seasonal collections of resources that are shared regularly with pastors and leaders throughout this synod and across the church. These “resource letters” include a reflection on each topic and highlight some of the best available resources.
Curious about what's new at the Resource Center? The most recent materials that have been added to the Eastern North Dakota Resource Center catalog are featured here.
We have a wide variety of topics and collections including resources for adult education, faith formation, worship, leadership development, continuing education and more. The online catalog has a complete listing of our large collection of media and print resources.
Open source resources developed by individuals and churches are available in Open Files in the center and at the Association of Lutheran Resource Centers (external link). You will find other shared resources, educational opportunities, and topical web links on our Links page.

Tillich warned against making the window itself—whether Scripture, prayer, or our own tradition—the objects of our devotion.
The biblical stories are remarkable wellsprings. Burbling up century after century, the insights and wisdom they offer continue to challenge, assault, comfort, and even frustrate listeners who find them both compelling and disturbing. These stories are windows for looking at the world and at our own lives. They help us see! Continue reading…
