Over 70 pastoral and lay leaders from both synods, representing 22 parishes and involving 62 congregations, participated in this catalytic event. President Andre’ Golike, of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Central African Republic, will be visiting the Eastern North Dakota Synod during the week of February 10-15, 2010.
President Golike presides over this, our Companion Synod, in a country filled with challenges of many kinds. In the midst of severe poverty and corrupt government, past visitors to the C.A.R. from EaND Synod describe the church as a vibrant and welcoming church.
