Merry Christmas from all of us at the EaND Synod!
You are invited by ELCA Global Mission Support to make Thanksgiving cards to support ELCA missionaries. Participants (individuals, families, committees, groups, classes) are invited to make at least three cards:
- One card to be brought to the congregation for distribution to service personnel connected to the congregation and community, for example, members of the military and our sponsored ELCA missionaries.
- Another card should be brought to the congregation to “sell” as a fundraiser ELCA Missionary Sponsorship.
- The third card is for personal use. Send someone special an “I’m thankful for you” card.
- If the spirit moves you, make a fourth card to be sent to an ELCA missionary. Thanksgiving time can be a low point for mission service. Global Mission Support will gather these cards and distribute them equally among the missionaries, beginning with our 88 new missionaries.
