- Synod Assembly information and materials will not be mailed; All Voting Member business materials will be on our website March 26 to view, download, and print. Please bring all required documents with you to assembly.
- Voting Member Registration closes March 29, 2010
- Visitor Registration closes April 5, 2010
- Global Mission Breakfast deadline is April 5, 2010

- Opening Worship: Saturday, 8:30 am, everyone welcome!
- Churchwide Representative – Rev. Gemechis Buba, ELCA Director for African National Ministries
- Mission Blitz – our theme in action – service projects for everyone Saturday afternoon!
- Together in Mission Celebration: Saturday, 6:30 pm;
celebrating our “Mission Blitz” experiences, celebrating our synod & churchwide shared ministries, and honoring clergy and congregations marking significant anniversaries; a casual buffet dinner and a short program - Global Mission Breakfast: Sunday, 7 am, Trinity Lutheran, Jamestown, Paul Aladin, Haitian Ministries, speaker
- Worship with Holy Communion: Sunday, 9 am;
offering designated 1/3 to Lutheran Malaria Initiative, 1/3 to Lutheran Disaster Relief; 1/3 to Sudanese Worship Community
Registration:
- Synod Assembly information and materials will not be mailed; all registration forms and general information are available on our website.
- You may register one of two ways:
- Complete and submit the registration form online and send in your registration fee to the synod office
- Download and print the registration form on our website, complete, and mail it with your payment to the synod office.
- Fee per voting member is $125; fees are non-refundable.
- If substitutions of voting members are made, please inform the synod office as soon as possible!
- Email addresses will be required this year. If you do not have email, please use your church email address when registering.
- Visitors are welcome to attend all events at no cost (except meals) Pre-registration is required for meals. Visitors may register as outlined above (same as Voting Members).

Together in Mission – Saturday Mission Blitz!
- Our “theme in action” (service projects) will take place Saturday afternoon. All voting members and visitors are welcome to be a part of doing “God’s work” with “Our hands.”
- Please indicate your activity level on the assembly registration form (need to stay at the Civic, somewhat active, moderately active, or highly active).
- You will be given your service project assignment (including details) upon arrival at the Civic Center Saturday morning.
- Transportation will be provided for many of the projects.
- Plan to wear casual, comfortable clothes Saturday. For those who checked “highly active,” dress accordingly (bring work gloves).
- There will be additional activities / education components to experience at the Civic Center if you arrive back early from your project.
