The Eastern North Dakota Synod staff welcomes Rev. Kari Bahe as our new Associate with the Bishop. Kari’s main areas of responsibilities will include Candidacy, Discipleship on the Prairie (formerly GIFTS), and stewardship. We invite you to stop by the office to greet Kari. |
It is with joy that I accept the call to serve as Associate with the Bishop. My husband, Brad, our son James, and I are pleased to have the opportunity to serve God’s mission with you. I give you thanks for the warm welcome that has already been extended to me and look forward to getting to know more of you and hearing your stories of God’s great work among you. It has been wonderful to hear Bishop Rindy and Pastor Brandt speak of your support and service for the sake of the Gospel. I am truly blessed to join you!
Coming to serve in the Eastern North Dakota Synod is like coming home for me. My first two calls were in this synod (Petersburg, Dahlen, and Lom Lutheran Churches, Petersburg and United Lutheran, Grand Forks). Since then, my ministry has taken us to Federal Way, Washington and to Minneapolis, Minnesota. Throughout my ministry in small, rural parishes to large suburban congregations, a piece of my heart has always stayed here in North Dakota. My family and I are excited to be back in your midst. I ask for your prayers as we move and settle in. Thank you for the privilege of serving with you.
In Christ,
Pastor Kari L.S. Bahe
