The Eastern North Dakota Synod believes the calling of a pastor is the work of the Holy Spirit. This Spirit led process is one which the congregation, potential candidates, the synod, and the ELCA form an important partnership. Each member of the partnership is enriched when the call process results in a good match between pastor and congregation. The total mission of the church is furthered when each member of the partnership is honored, respected, and fulfills its appropriate role in the process.

The following congregations are in various stages of the call process. Some may have just received a resignation of their pastor, while others may already have issued a Letter of Call and are awaiting a response. Please keep these pastors and congregations in your prayers during this time of transition.
