LIFT (exteranl link) is an ELCA task force commissioned by the ELCA Church Council to develop and recommend options for the future of the ELCA in light of its identity, changes in its environment and its call to God’s mission. Our work is guided by two questions: 1) What is God calling this church to be and to do in the future? and 2) What changes are in order to accomplish these tasks more faithfully? These are important questions that will lead the ELCA into the future. We cannot faithfully address these items without the input of all ELCA members.
The Renewing the Ecology of the ELCA Task Force values your input! Find us on facebook (exteranl link) and twitter (exteranl link). Learn more about LIFT on the ELCA website (exteranl link) and our main website (exteranl link).
The following video is part of the Eastern North Dakota Synod "Us" DVD and shares a few stories of the ministry of the The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America Churchwide (exteranl link).
