"This Movie Changed Me" is a 4-part series to invite people into theological reflections while gaining new and surprising impressions/understandings of our diverse United States history and it's people. It is not a movie review, but instead an invitation to conversation and reflection.

Hidden Figures is based on the unbelievably true life stories of a team of female African american mathematicians, known as "super computers," who served a vital role in NASA during the early years of the US space program. The movie took place in the early 1960's, a time of segregation and racism.
