What is Discipleship?

A disciple is a learner and a follower. Christian Discipleship is learning about and following Jesus. Christian disciples learn about Jesus from the Bible, from teachers and from the community of believers. Discipleship begins with devotion and commitment. It matures into faith, hope, and love. It then reaches out to all, even to the nations, and baptizes them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
