Conference Deans

The Eastern North Dakota Synod is divided into eight geographical conferences (map). Clergy representatives from each conference are elected by their fall conference assembly to serve as conference dean. They are convened by the bishop and have the responsibility to provide pastoral care and leadership within their conference.

Conference Officers

Each of the eight conferences (map) in Eastern North Dakota have two laypersons and one clergy serving as conference officers. Officers are elected by fall conference assembly for a term of three years, eligible for one consecutive re-election. Terms arranged so that one-third of terms expire each year. Term begins immediately following election.
