The Eastern North Dakota Synod...

The Eastern North Dakota Synod is part of Region 3 (external link) of the ELCA (external link).

The word "synod" comes from the Greek words: syn meaning together, and hodos meaning the way. A synod is a group of people on the way together.

The EaND Synod is comprised of 250 rostered leaders, 102,522 baptized members with $24,438,146 in regular giving received in our congregations. The synod is divided into eight conferences: Carrington, Devils Lake, Fargo, Grafton, Grand Forks, Jamestown, Mayville, and Wahpeton, and covers approximately the eastern third of the state of North Dakota.
